Where are you located?

Our address is 24 York Street, Blackpool, FY1 5AQ. We are situated only one minute from Central Pier. We have a directions link on the main pages which shows how to get here.

Are you far from the train station?

We are about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes in a taxi, which should cost around 4.00 for 2 people with luggage.

How far is it to the Pleasure Beach?

The Prom is one minute from the front door, once on it turn left and it's a 15 minute walk.

Which train station should I get off at?

The North station is the most popular but it does not matter if you get off at the South station as we are in the middle of both.

How much is a taxi to the Staymor from the train station?

It depends on how many people and the amount of luggage you have. Taxis change extra for each passenger and for every piece of luggage they put in the boot. ALL taxis should use their meter but ask before you get in if you are unsure.

How far is the bus station from the Staymor?

The National Express station is situated on Talbot Road and is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride. Bus Travel The Longsdale Coach park is 10 minutes away

YES! You are given a bedroom and front door key with a deposit of 5.00 which is return on your departure when the keys are handed back.

What happens if I loose my door key?

If the keys are not handed back then you loose the 5.00 deposit which is the cost of replacing.

YES! All rooms are fitted with a free digital quality television.

YES! There is a kettle and cups with a welcome pack of tea/coffee.

NO! We are not licensed but you are welcome to bring in your own and we will supply the glasses.

Snacks are served in the TV lounge all day until 10pm along with tea/coffee.

YES! The lounge is open all day so come and go as you wish.

Evening Meal is served at 5pm, this is an optional extra 6.00 per night.

YES! This is allowed but strictly no curries.

NO!! A meal is included in the price and you have the choice to take it or not.

Do you have private parking available

No! It is free parking opposite the house if you get a space, and there are 3 pay and displays nearby, so parking should not be a problem.

Do you require a deposit?

YES! to secure the accommodation a deposit is required. One night only must be paid in advance please look at our Terms and Conditions

What happens if I cancel?

You must inform the Staymor 7 days before the arrival date of any cancellation/alteration to your booking. If you fail to arrive without any notice, your card account will be charged the full first night B & B.

I am short in the numbers booked .what happens?

If you have not informed the proprietor and both have reached an agreement, you will be charged the total balance due less 1/3rd for food and services.

Do I get my deposit refunded?

NO! Deposits are non refundable or transferable.

I am sick and can't make it. do I still have to pay?

YES! It has been upheld that illness is not a reason not to pay compensation to the proprietor for any revenue he may loose.

What happens if I don't turn up?

The worst thing you could do, as a phone call is all it take to allow the proprietor to try and re let the accommodation. If this happens the full amount due on the booking will be charged.

When can I check in?

Although every effort will be made to allow access to the room, after 1pm is the checking in time but you can arrive earlier and leave you suitcases. if you are going to arrive later than 6 pm you must inform the Guesthouse.

What time do I have to check-out?

Rooms must be vacated by 10am on day of departure to enable us to prepare for incoming guests.

Can I change my booked dates?

Every effort would be made to try are re-arrange your dates, but if it is not possible then the booking would be cancelled and the deposit lost.

Is there any charge for paying with Credit/Debit Card?

YES! There is a 5% admin fee on Cards to cover running cost of the online booking service. instant online booking. or you can telephone me with your card number on 01253-620396.You can also pay with cheque/postal order by mail .
